Welcome to the NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight Improving Together platform - a place to collaborate and connect, share and learn.

In the health and care system in Hampshire and Isle of Wight, we want to support people to live longer and more fulfilled lives in good health. Continuous improvement and learning are at the heart of this, shaping how we work.

Improving Together offers everyone across Hampshire and Isle of Wight a thriving, diverse platform where we can connect, collaborate, share, improve and learn together, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and learning. It provides a repository of resources and support, including local and national training and development opportunities, and newsletters and bulletins.

We are looking forward to developing this together, supported by a growing learning and improvement community across Hampshire and Isle of Wight and evolving networks and infrastructure.

Improving Together Conference: Wednesday 16th September

As part of Quality Improvement Week 2026, ‘QI is for everyone,’ we hosted our second annual system-wide collaborative event. This was an interactive opportunity to bring together people from Hampshire and Isle of Wight and beyond, to share, learn and connect, as we build a community of continuous improvement and development. By celebrating and supporting collaboration across the health and care system in Hampshire and Isle of Wight, we hope to support people to live longer and more fulfilled lives in good health. Continuous improvement and learning are at the heart of this, shaping how we work. Thank you to everyone that attended and especially those who delivered the inspirational talks and presentations that shaped the day - particularly our keynote speaker, Penny Pereira, Q Managing Director at The NHS Alliance.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Clinical Framework

Our clinical framework was launched at the Clinical Leadership event on the 21st November; it has been designed by clinicians and sets out the principles and values underpinning how we work together to design, deliver and improve our healthcare services. It defines our ambition to improve the health of our population and reduce inequalities in health and healthcare outcomes, now and in the future.

We would like to hear from you to help us further develop this platform. Please get in touch at:
